Another example of living out identity of Christ, an heir to his throne, is you are acceptable because of what Christ has done. He has called you his own because of Christ.

Imagine if you were a chef, or any creative person, trying to create their masterpiece for a master critic. If the critic didn't already know you, and this was the first time you had to impress this person in order for your restaurant to succeed, he would be coming simply to criticize or judge you and your work. Pretty straight froward, however you couldn't help but feel high levels of stress, anxiety, and ultimately fear. Fear from not knowing if you can pull this off - fear of failure.

Now let's flip it around. What if you had to create something for a critic you knew already loved your work. This critic has already wrote countless of articles praising your restaurant. Due to these articles your restaurant is insanely successful. If that critic, who has power to make or break you, was actually a fan of you, how much more freedom and joy comes to you when creating from that position? You would anticipate the day that critic arrives at your door. You can’t wait to show them the new things you have on your menu. Your creativity is encouraged giving you the confidence, and boldness to do what you are already accepted to do. You’re not creating from a place of anxiety, but rather a place of safety.

Like Henri Nouwen said, "We can only accept and attend our wounds from a place of safety and grace. A person is only vulnerable when they know they’re in a safe non-hostile place."
